The SICK SLG50S-180FAR11A00 (Order No.1126862) is a brand-new original automation light grid of the SLG-2 series. It applies infrared light source and through-beam detection principle, operating with 18–30 V DC power supply. It comes with PNP/NPN push-pull output and IO-Link COM3 communication function, compatible with a wide range of industrial automation controllers. It has IP65 protection grade to resist dust and moisture, performing stable operation within -30℃ ~ +55℃ ambient temperature.
This light grid adopts lightweight aluminum alloy housing with PMMA lens and uses M8 4-pin male connector for convenient wiring and assembly. Its detection height reaches 1800 mm with 50 mm beam spacing, detection range from 0.44 m to 3.5 m, making it suitable for stable contour measurement and object detection tasks.
