The SICK UD18-22CC2F1 is a brand-new original ultrasonic distance sensor from the UD18 series. It operates at 400 kHz ultrasonic frequency and runs on 20–30 V DC power supply, featuring push-pull PNP/NPN output and switchable Light-ON / Dark-ON function for easy integration with industrial automation controllers. It has an IP65 protection rating to guard against dust and moisture, working reliably within ambient temperature of +5℃ ~ +60℃.
This sensor adopts nickel-plated brass metal combined with PBT plastic cylindrical M18 threaded housing. It is equipped with a 7-core 2m PUR open cable for convenient wiring. The sensing range is 20mm to 60mm with a 7mm blind zone, well-suited for thin material and label detection.
It is widely used for label and thin object detection on packaging machinery and conveyor automated production lines.
